Toronto-based singer-songwriters, Amy Campbell and Tiiu are heading east this July for an extensive tour of Eastern Canada. Over the course of the evening, the performers will share the stage to perform finely crafted folk songs - some their own, and some classics you may recognize too. This tour is somewhat of a homecoming for Amy Campbell, a talented songwriter who was born and raised in Mt. Pearl, Newfoundland, and began her career during her fifteen years Halifax. Amy has steadily been developing a cult following over the years with her defiant and vulnerable love songs, and her relentless touring schedule. A compelling live performer, she has shared stages throughout Canada and the States with many friends, including Veda Hille, Emm Gryner and Penny Lang. Her new album - Oh Heart, Oh Highway - recently reached #1 on CBC's Galaxie Folk/Roots chart. On Ontario native, Tiiu is bringing her whiskey-twisted vocals for their second tour of the East Coast. An endearing performer, Tiiu has worked her way across Canada multiple times over the past couple of years, sharing the stage with the likes of Old Man Luedecke, Ian Tamblyn and Serena Ryder. Her latest recording “Shooting Stars, Blazing Hearts”, produced by Don Kerr (Ron Sexmith) has garnered national acclaim with CBC Radio, and won the hearts of fans across the country.
